Hello, parents and guardians!
We are happy to announce that College Heights’ Silent Auction will be held on March 4, 2016. It is our biggest fundraising event, and we need your help!
- We ask each class to provide a themed basket to be auctioned. Basket items can include toys, tickets, gift certificates, craft, anything that will make it appealing. Themes from previous years include: Day Out in Decatur, Family Game Night, Foodies, Zoo, Cooking & Grilling. Be creative!
- We have a team reaching out to local businesses for donations and gift cards to be auctioned. However, our resources are limited. Can you think of anyone who might contribute an item to be auctioned? Maybe your company matches donations? The beginning of the year is the perfect time to approach businesses for a donation before their funds designated for charity are fully allocated to other causes.
Auction items determine the outcome of our event. The funds from this event go toward our Spanish program, after school scholarships, and many more educational opportunities. These programs are only possible with your assistance.

Please note the following dates:
Submission for basket idea is due Wednesday, January 20. Please email your idea to firstname.lastname@example.org with subject: Grade; Class teachers’ last names (ex: Pre-K; Amick/Dorsey)
Submission for the completed basket is due Wednesday, February 17. Details on where to deliver will be determined and communicated in another email closer to February.
